Bomb threat at Chevron Science Center cleared

The bomb threat at Chevron Science Center has been cleared.

Pitt sent out an Emergency… The bomb threat at Chevron Science Center has been cleared.

Pitt sent out an Emergency Notification System alert at 11:50 a.m. today concluding the threat, and stating the building will re-open at 1 p.m.

Pitt spokesman John Fedele said that the threat was similar to others received this month, and it was found in a women’s bathroom.

An ENS alert at 10:05 a.m. alerted the campus of the threat and told people to evacuate the building.

This is the fourth bomb threat Pitt’s campus has received this month.

Pitt spokesman Robert Hill previously said that a person of interest has been identified for the three bomb threats at the Cathedral of Learning.
