Wednesday, Jan. 4
11:15 a.m. — Police received report of the theft of a bicycle in the Schenley Quad. An investigation is pending.
9:14 p.m. — Pitt police assisted city police with two vehicles that were broken into at Boundary and Joncaire streets. The incident was cleared.
9:42 p.m. — Police received a report of an individual feeling ill at Lothrop Hall. City medics responded and transported the person to UPMC Presbyterian hospital.
Thursday, Jan. 5
12:53 a.m. — Police cited non-affiliate Ariel M. Koris of 45 Edgecliff Rd., Carnegie, Pa., for underage drinking at Lothrop Hall.
7:58 a.m. — An officer found an office door unlocked while on patrol at the Cathedral of Learning. The area was checked and the door was resecured.
10:59 a.m. — An officer reported finding a broken glass door at Sigma Chi. An investigation is pending.
6:12 p.m. — Police cited non-affiliate Haley Bolds of 180 Bell Dr., Penn Hills, Pa., for aggressive panhandling at Filmore and Craig streets.
6:48 p.m. — Police cited non-affiliate Ira L. Perry of 1300 Wood St., Wilkinsburg, Pa., for violating a city ordinance at Forbes and Oakland avenues.
8:01 p.m. — Police received a report of a suspicious individual at Lawrence Hall. The individual was referred for Judicial Action.
Friday, Jan. 6
11:19 a.m. — Police cited non-affiliate Ralph R. Leard Jr. of 397 Beggs Rd., Polk, Pa., for disorderly conduct at Sennott Square.
12:02 p.m. — Police recovered a wallet at Pitt’s Public Safety Building. The item was placed in an evidence locker.
12:15 p.m. — Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a Lenzner Bus at Centre Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard. No injuries were reported.
12:31 p.m. — Police received the following alcohol violations from Residence Life:
Nov. 16, 6:00 p.m. at Litchfield Tower B — One student was found in possession of alcohol by a Resident Director and referred for Judicial Action.
3:30 p.m. — Police received a report of a lost or stolen wallet at Posvar Hall. An investigation is pending.
9:10 p.m. — Police cited affiliate Michael D. Cochrane of 3992 Forbes Ave., for disorderly conduct/marijuana at Litchfield Tower B.
9:10 p.m. — Police cited affiliate Zachary J. Ezrow of 3992 Forbes Ave., for underage drinking at Litchfield Tower B.
10:48 p.m. — Police cited Todd A. Smiley of 4747 Monongahela St. Apt. 2, Pittsburgh Pa., for violating a city ordinance.
11:14 p.m. — Pitt police assisted city police with a large fight on the 300 block of McKee Place.
11:55 p.m. — Police cited affiliate Rebecca R. Manges of 217 Lena Drive, York, Pa., for underage drinking at Litchfield Tower A.
Saturday, Jan. 7
1:14 a.m. — Police cited affiliate Andrew G. Rusinko Jr. of 113 Lakeview Dr., Exton, Pa., for underage drinking at Bruce Hall.
1:53 a.m. — Police recovered a cell phone in Litchfield Towers lobby. The item was placed in an evidence locker.
1:56 a.m. — Police cited affiliate Zachary James Schenk of 75 Midway Drive, Orchard Park, N.Y., for underage drinking at Litchfield Tower B.
