Sunday, Jan. 22
4:10 a.m— Police cited affiliate Edward J. Baranowski of 106 Drury Court, Gibsonia, Pa., for underage drinking and disorderly conduct in Litchfield Tower C.
10:11 a.m — Police noticed a broken window at Phi Kappa Theta while on patrol. An investigation is pending.
1:50 p.m — Police responded to a burglar intrusion alarm at the DLR-EDIC Building. The area was checked and found to be secure.
1:40 p.m. — Pitt police assisted city police with a possible home invasion. The area was searched with negative results.
5:54 p.m. — Police conducted a suspicious persons check at the Cost Sports Center. The individuals were identified and given proper warnings.
8:22 p.m. — Police recovered a laptop computer in Posvar Hall. The item was placed in an evidence locker.
9:49 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a suspicious person knocking on doors in Bruce Hall. Police escorted the person from the building.
Monday, Jan. 23
1:21 a.m. — Police physically arrested non-affiliate Karla L. Fonas of 4619 Parnell St., Pittsburgh, Pa., for driving under the influence on the 300 block of Meyran Ave.
7:05 a.m. — Police received a report of elevator entrapment at the Cathedral of Learning. An employee from the Schindler Elevator Corporationompany was able to get the individual off of the elevator.
1:20 p.m. — Police assisted health and safety in recovering three vials of chemicals. Items were placed in an evidence locker to be destroyed at a later date.
1:23 p.m — Individual reported they found a broken window at Sigma Chi fraternity house. The investigation is pending.
5:19 p.m. — Police recovered a wallet on the corner of Dawson Street and Oakland Avenue. The owner was notified, and the item was placed in an evidence locker.
