1:36 a.m. Fifth Avenue and Amberson Street. Pitt police cited one non-affiliate for marijuana and disorderly conduct.

1:37 a.m. 300 block of Meyran Avenue. Pitt police are investigating a report of attempted burglary.

1:55 a.m. UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Pitt police referred one student for judicial action after a campus security authority reported an alcohol law violation.

4:44 a.m. Carillo Steam Plant. Pitt police arrested one non-affiliate on a warrant.

1:32 p.m. University Drive. Pitt police cited one student for public drunkenness.

1:54 a.m. Fifth Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard. Pitt police referred four students for judicial action after responding to a report of marijuana smell.

1:57 a.m. 300 block of Oakland Avenue, outside Bouquet Gardens Building D. Pitt police responded to a report of a trash can on fire. City fire responded and extinguished the fire.

5:59 a.m. Litchfield Towers Lobby. Pitt police cited one non-affiliate for possessing and using false identification.

3:07 a.m. 3500 block of Forbes Avenue. Pitt police cited one non-affiliate for defiant trespass.

3:39 a.m. Halket Street and Boulevard of the Allies. Pitt police assisted city police with a “Dead on Arrival,” According to Rick Lorah, supervisor for the Allegheny County Medical Examiner, a 61-year-old man killed himself by jumping from the Quality Inn hotel.

5:48 p.m. 100-300 block of Oakland Avenue. Pitt police assisted city police with a fraud report.

12:36 a.m. Nordenberg Hall. Police issued a summons arrest to a male student for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

2:59 p.m. Cathedral of Learning. Police responded to a report from a student that their property was missing after they left it unattended. An investigation is pending.

10:46 p.m. Lothrop Hall. Police responded to a report from campus security of a weapons violation. Police referred one student for judicial action.

1:11 a.m. Litchfield Towers Lobby. An officer discovered graffiti while he was on patrol. An investigation is pending.

12:47 p.m. 100-300 block of Oakland Avenue. Pitt police assisted city police with a fraud case.

3:56 p.m. Police responded to a report from a female student that her ex-boyfriend was harassing her. An investigation is pending.

6:32 p.m. Cathedral of Learning. Police responded to a report of graffiti in the ladies’ bathroom. An investigation is pending.

1:10 a.m. Centre Avenue and University Drive. Police arrested one non-affiliated man for driving under the influence.

1:56 a.m. Sennott Street and Atwood Street. Police issued a citation to a non-affiliated man for public urination.

2:29 a.m. 100-300 block of Oakland Avenue. Pitt police assisted city police with a call that shots were fired. Police identified an actor. Charges are pending.
