Kim Rooney, Copy Chief

Kim Rooney is the copy chief of The Pitt News and editor in chief of Collision Literary Magazine. She also contributes as a writer to The Pitt News, and she previously worked as assistant copy chief and a copy editor. As a senior English fiction writing and communication rhetoric double major with a minor in Chinese, she spends most of her time reading, writing, and researching racial identity formation in Chinese-American adoptees. In her spare moments, she enjoys running, crocheting, singing, and baking. After graduation, she hopes to work in an editing position before pursuing an MFA in fiction writing.
