College is a time to explore new ideas. And Pitt students of every level from across the university have an amazing resource available that lets you roll up your sleeves and work on taking your big ideas and making them real.

The Big Idea Center for student innovation and entrepreneurship offers a wealth of opportunities to gain hands on experience that will equip you with skills that will set you apart from your peers, whether your life path includes launching your own company or non-profit, going to work for a startup, or leading innovation initiatives inside a Fortune 500 company.

There are two opportunities coming up for you to learn more about the Big Idea Center and all it has to offer – from weekend innovation hacking events, to one-on-one consultation with experienced entrepreneurs in residence (EIRs), to a week-long bonanza of entrepreneurship in November in conjunction with our neighboring Pittsburgh universities.

Then in February is the chance to turn your idea into big-time cash in the Randall Family Big Idea Competition, which awards $100,000 in cash prizes!

Learn more about the Big Idea Center and how you can get involved by registering for one of two upcoming Big Idea Kickoff sessions.
