7:11 p.m. – Officers assisted Pittsburgh police with a reported car theft on Burrows Street.

7:15 p.m. – Officers monitored a meeting in Bellefield Hall Auditorium.

8:03 p.m. – The fire alarm in Langley Hall was activated by construction.

Friday, April 4

1:22 a.m. – Officers assisted Pittsburgh police with a reported assault at a bar near the corner of Atwood and Sennott streets.

6:28 a.m. – A person was stuck in an elevator in Lothrop Hall and was freed by an elevator repairman.

9:47 a.m. – A computer was reported to be stolen from UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. An investigation is pending.

12:07 p.m. – Officers assisted Pittsburgh police with a possible sexual assault at an off-campus party on Dithridge Street. An investigation is pending.

1:15 p.m. – Computer lab staff handed over a passport that was left in the Cathedral of Learning computer lab.

1:37 p.m. – A staff member reported missing cash in the Old Engineering Hall. An investigation is pending.

5:30 p.m. – Police cited students Jonathan Z. Drucker, of Bala Cynwd, Pa., and Patrik Suwak, of Waldorf, Md., for violating city ordinance involving skateboarding near the Litchfield Towers Lobby.

9:21 p.m. – A person reported an attempt to break into her apartment on 305 Atwood St. An investigation is pending.

Saturday, April 4

12:18 a.m. – Police cited student Alyssa Gallagher, of Lansdale, Pa., for underage drinking on the 300 block of Bouquet Street.

2:00 a.m. – Officers assisted Pittsburgh police with a reported robbery at Center and Bellefield avenues. 2:51 a.m. – An individual at McCormick Hall reported receiving harassing phone calls. An investigation is pending.

3:28 p.m. – Non-affiliate Joshua Widener, of Orefield, Pa., was cited for marijuana-related offenses and disorderly conduct in Litchfield Tower C.

9:47 p.m. – A fire alarm was activated by a small fire in an elevator in Lothrop Hall. An investigation is pending.

9:52 p.m. – Non-affiliates Robert Fowler, of Homestead, Pa., and Charles Signore, of Monroeville, Pa., were cited for disorderly conduct at Sennott and Bouquet streets.

Sunday, April 5

2:07 a.m. – An individual reported being assaulted at the Delta Sigma Delta house on the 3700 block of Sutherland Drive.

2:15 a.m. – Police cited student Robert S. Houser, of Chico, Calif., for disorderly conduct in Pennsylvania Hall.

2:25 a.m. – Police arrested student Nicholas J. Frontera, of North Huntington, Pa., for burglary in Litchfield Tower B.

2:45 a.m. – An individual reported being assaulted in the Pi Kappa Alpha house. An investigation is pending.

2:50 a.m. – Officers moderated a dispute between two students on the 100 block of Lothrop Street.

7:50 a.m. – Officers returned a student to his residence from Monroeville.

11:45 a.m. – Officers and engineers extinguished a mulch fire in a planter outside of Posvar Hall.

3:44 p.m. – Non-affiliate James Edward Lawrence, of 715 Mercer St., was arrested on an outstanding county warrant on the 3400 block of Forbes Avenue. Monday, April 7

11:23 a.m. – An officer accompanied by a K-9 detail inspected a package outside of the Cathedral of Learning. The owner of the abandoned package returned and claimed it.

2:00 p.m. – A clerk at the Forbes Avenue 7-Eleven reported that a person damaged the bathroom door. An investigation is pending.

3:18 p.m. – A juvenile was arrested for retail theft at Rue 21 on Forbes Avenue.

3:44 p.m. – A staff member at the Petersen Events Center turned over ammunition found on the concourse level. The ammunition was placed in recovered property.

4:36 p.m. – An individual reported finding threatening writing on a door in Posvar Hall.

Tuesday, April 8

8:40 a.m. – A burglary was reported in the office area of Lothrop Hall. An investigation is pending.

9:46 a.m. – A motor vehicle hit the bollards at the Cathedral of Learning loading dock area. No one was injured.

10:09 a.m. – Construction materials were stolen from the loading dock area at Ruskin Hall. An investigation is pending.

1:41 p.m. – An individual reported a suspicious female on the 24th floor of the Cathedral of Learning.

2:38 p.m. – An individual fell at the intersection of Bigelow Boulevard and Forbes Avenue. An officer transported the individual to a local hospital.

5:06 p.m. – An individual reported a bike stolen from the bike racks outside of the Cathedral of Learning. An investigation is pending.

5:15 p.m. – An unknown person or vehicle damaged the right hand light in the driveway of the Cathedral of Learning near the bollards.

11:51 p.m. – An individual reported a handle broken off of a revolving door at the Petersen Events Center.

Wednesday, April 9

1:48 a.m. – Someone reported that the glass window at the Brackenridge Hall guard station was cracked.

2:19 a.m. – Police found a closed pipe outside of the William Pitt Union. After examining it, they detonated it and determined it not to be a threat of any kind.

4:02 a.m. – A false fire alarm was triggered at the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity house.

10:52 a.m. – An officer and a K-9 detail performed a security sweep of the William Pitt Union.

11:17 a.m. – An officer and a K-9 checked a suspicious package in the William Pitt Union.

3:39 p.m. – Photographers at the Cathedral of Learning accidentally triggered a false fire alarm. Students were evacuated.

3:49 p.m. – A bomb threat on the Cathedral of Learning was called in to the Pitt police’s emergency line. The building was evacuated and then checked. The incident was cleared.

Thursday, April 10

1:39 a.m. – Non-affiliate Earnest Blessing, of 8701 Brison St., was cited for defiant trespass in Pitt’s Law School.
