Patrick Kochanek, M.D., director of the University of Pittsburgh Safar Center for Resuscitation Research, has been named editor of the Journal of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.

The journal is a publication of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the World Federation of Pediatric Intensive and Critical Care Societies and began publication in July 2000.
