Pitt students should make sure to double-check their bus schedules this holiday weekend.

According to a Port Authority release, Port Authority is shifting bus schedules on 37 routes beginning Sunday, Sept. 6, as part of a regularly scheduled quarterly adjustment. Buses will also operate on the holiday schedule for Labor Day on Monday, meaning the buses will run on the usual Sunday schedule that day.

For the schedule adjustments, the 61A to North Braddock that usually comes at 4:07 p.m. on weekdays will now come one minute later, the 61B Braddock-Swissvale that comes at 4 p.m. on weekdays will operate three minutes later and the 61C McKeesport-Homestead that comes at 4:03 p.m. on weekdays will run two minutes later.

Port Authority also said the Monongahela Incline will run on Labor Day, but construction on it will begin Tuesday, Sept. 8. Port Authority is offering alternative bus solutions between the upper and lower stations of the Incline instead, according to a press release.

Additionally, Port Authority will be adjusting the schedule for the 81 Oak Hill bus, though it has not yet announced these changes.
