Letter to the Editor: November 6, 2013

To the Editor,

Thank you for your continued efforts with the chancellor search process. I agree that the student voice is important, and I am grateful for Pitt’s dedication in making sure that all faces of Pitt are represented on the Chancellor Search Committee. I have been at Pitt for seven years now — five years as an undergraduate and two years as a graduate student. I understand the gravity of our task to find the next chancellor, and I want to take this opportunity to let the students know that I will represent their voice to the best of my ability. While I cannot comment on the search process, I do believe that hearing the thoughts of Pitt students is valuable to me, as I am one of two student representatives. If any student wants to voice their opinion to me, I welcome those thoughts at president.pittgpsg@gmail.com.
