Hispanic Heritage Month kicks off with celebration of Latinx culture

On the William Pitt Union lawn, two girls with bottles of red, green, yellow, white and black face paint carefully brushed a Mexican flag onto a male Pitt student’s cheek as they tried to keep from laughing. Others bobbed their heads to Spanish pop music playing on the speakers.

It’s official, Pitt will be playing Stanford in the Sun Bowl, the Panthers first bowl game in two years. After two tough loses, it will be the perfect place for Pitt’s seniors to leave their mark on the program.
