The University Senate held the plenary after a year of examining systemic racism and inequality within the Pitt community. The plenary, which encouraged all students, faculty and staff to attend, had three panels that discussed the inequality within the University and the necessary steps for improving the University.
The University Senate convened on Wednesday to hold its annual plenary session focused on “Free Speech in the Modern University.”
