Pitt volleyball sweeps North Dakota for 18th straight win

The No. 6 Pitt volleyball team took care of business at home Tuesday night, sweeping North Dakota in straight sets to remain unbeaten.

Weekend Sports: Homecoming brings mixed results

Weekend Sports: Pitt volleyball, softball continue dominance while soccer teams stumble

Nika Markovic: Slovenian student serves success

When Nika Markovic decommitted from the University of San Francisco, she had no idea she would end up at Pitt. Born in Braslovce, Slovenia, Markovic began playing volleyball at the age of 7. No-one - not even her - thought volleyball would be her sport.
