The high-powered Pitt wrestling team took its first loss of the season in a blowout. Meanwhile, women’s basketball and gymnastics both suffered close losses against favored opponents. That said, the women’s diving team remained a bright spot by picking up a dual meet win over Duquesne.

Miami snatched a victory from the jaws of defeat against Pitt women’s basketball on Thursday night, overcoming a 23-point first quarter deficit to defeat Pitt 72-68.
Pitt paused all team activities in accordance with the ACC’s coronavirus protocols and will not play again until at least Jan. 21.
