Man shot, killed in West Oakland

A man was fatally shot on De Raud Street in West Oakland Friday evening.

At about 9:35 p.m. Pittsburgh Police officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of De Raud Street, according to a Pittsburgh Public Safety release. The victim was a a 20-year-old male named Wade Howard, according to a release from Allegheny County. He was transferred to UPMC Mercy Hospital in critical condition and was later announced dead at the hospital.

The investigation is ongoing. More details to come.
