3:48 p.m. 400 block of Atwood Street. Pitt police assisted city police with a report of simple assault. They referred two students for judicial action.

12:11 a.m. Litchfield Tower C. Police issued a citation to a student for underage drinking.

1:16 a.m. Bruce Hall. Police issued a citation to a man for underage drinking.

1:35 a.m. Posvar Hall. Police issued a citation to a male student for marijuana and disordely conduct.

1:42 a.m. Pennsylvania Hall. Police issued a citation to a student for underage drinking.

3:28 a.m. CMU campus. Pitt police assisted CMU police with a liquor law violation. Police referred two Pitt students for judicial action.

6:43 a.m. Shadyside Hospital. Police issued a citation to a homeless man for disorderly conduct.

5:20 p.m. Dawson Street. Police issued a citation to a student for having an open container.

5:38 p.m. Dawson Street. Police issued a citation to a female student for underage drinking.

8:37 p.m. Heinz Field. Police issued a citation to a student for underage drinking.

Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016

3:00 p.m. Cahthedral of Learning. Police responded to a report of graffitti on a bathroom stall. An investigation is pending.

9:05 a.m. Family house. Police responded to a report of a fight between a father and son. Police advised both parties on the magisterial process.

9:23 p.m. Schenley Plaza. Police responded to a report of a missing backpack. An investigation is pending.

9:52 p.m. 3700 Forbes Avenue. Police issued a citation to a man for panhandling.

10:40 a.m. Ruskin Hall. Police responded to a report of several damaged exit signs. An investigation is pending.
