Junior Politics & Philosophy Kait Pendrak hands out voting stickers to students on campus | Katie Krater, Staff Photographer

Kait Pendrak, the president of Pitt’s Political Science Student Association, said that the organization will not be holding a watch party for students because “tensions are high.” She said the PSSA has allowed students to express and defend their opinion on all four candidates through events like the candidate fair and a debate between College Democrats and College Republicans.

“The PSSA has done their part about political education but today people should be out there fighting for their candidate,” Pendrak said. “There’s no way in h*ll I am going to be supporting Trump today.”

Pendrak spent the morning outside of Hillman Library encouraging students to vote and distributing “I voted” stickers, which she said were in high demand.

“Today of all days, I think it’s important we do have opinions,” she said.
