Pitt’s my.pitt portal down, cause unknown

Pitt’s student portal, my.pitt.edu, and its webmail services are currently experiencing technical issues, making them inaccessible for the time being.

Kenzy Piersaint, an employee in Pitt’s Computing Services and and Systems Development Department, said students and faculty lost service around 10:45 a.m. Friday morning. He added that CSSD has received numerous calls about the portal’s service outage, and haven’t determined the cause of the service outage as of 1:15 p.m.

Piersaint also said that he didn’t know when the services would return, but that CSSD is “trying their best to bring it back up as fast as possible.”
