Obama to make campaign stop at Carnegie Mellon Friday

President Barack Obama will throw his political chips on the table in Pittsburgh this Friday… President Barack Obama will throw his political chips on the table in Pittsburgh this Friday when he makes a stop in the city during his “Betting on America” bus tour.

Obama’s speech will take place on the College of Fine Arts Lawn at Carnegie Mellon University in Oakland. Press releases for the event indicate that Obama plans to center his speech on economic issues.

The event is free and open to the public, but a ticket is needed for admittance. Tickets can be picked up at several Pittsburgh-based Obama campaign offices:

Pittsburgh, Pa.

East Liberty

200 N. Highland Ave.

Pittsburgh, Pa.

Tickets are awarded on a first come, first served basis.

In addition to his stop in Pittsburgh, the two-day “Betting on America” tour will sweep across other areas in Western Pennsylvania and Ohio between tomorrow and Friday.
