Dan Jeong, a senior natural science major and employee at Oishii, said the fire began with a sudden power outage and a few sparks but soon erupted into a full blaze.
Around 10:30 p.m., firefighters extinguished the last flames still burning on the power lines outside the building. Detective John Gilkey of the Pittsburgh Arson Investigation Team said the investigation into how the fire spread into Oishii is still ongoing.
