Pitt police arrest man at airport, no word on connection to bomb threats

Pitt police, with the assistance of Allegheny County police, took Mark Lee Krangle, 65, of… Pitt police, with the assistance of Allegheny County police, took Mark Lee Krangle, 65, of Croton On Hudson, N.Y., into custody today and charged him with two counts of terroristic threats and one count of harassment by communication.

Pitt spokesman John Fedele said that at 1:30 p.m. today, police executed the arrest warrant for Krangle. They took him into custody at Pittsburgh International Airport.

Fedele couldn’t say whether the arrest was connected to the string of bomb threats on Pitt’s campus.
