Hours after clearing Towers, Pitt evacuates five more dorms

Pitt has evacuated Forbes Hall, Ruskin Hall, Lothrop Hall, Pennsylvania Hall and Bruce Hall,… Pitt has evacuated Forbes Hall, Ruskin Hall, Lothrop Hall, Pennsylvania Hall and Bruce Hall before 5:30 a.m., according to an ENS alert.

Another ENS alert at 7:30 a.m. cleared the building for students to reenter.

These bring the total number of threats and evacuations on the semester to 72. The threats came some two hours after Pitt allowed students back into Litchfield Towers after an 11 p.m. evacuation of that dorm complex.
