U.S. District Judge J. Nicholas Ranjan said there was no evidence to suggest Rosfeld's resignation was coerced under duress.
Pitt police issued a crime alert Saturday morning following two reported burglaries in South Oakland Friday night.
The first reported incident occurred in the 300 block of McKee Place between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The second incident was in the 300 block of Meyran Avenue between the hours of 8:45 p.m. and midnight. Items taken included cash, credit cards and a football jersey.
Pitt police assisted City police with both reports. There were no signs of forced entry found or injuries reported in either incident.
The suspect(s) is unknown.
