Pitt campus shuts down during power outage

A massive power outage in Oakland has shut down the University of Pittsburgh campus today…. A massive power outage in Oakland has shut down the University of Pittsburgh campus today.

​Pitt issued an ENS alert shortly after the power outage began this afternoon, which stated that campus buildings would shut down. The alert said that essential personnel would remain on campus.

​The alert did not mention what other functions of the University might be affected by the outage.
