The early morning robbery involved no weapons and no one was injured.

According to the crime alert, a group of five to six black males approached the victim at 1:45 a.m. outside of the dormitory.

The group surrounded the victim and took his cell phone, which was later returned to him. The suspects then fled towards J-lot.

The alert described one suspect as a 6-foot-1 black male with braids or dread locks, wearing a red polo shirt and baggy jeans. The alert included no description of the other suspects.
