A campus security authority reported a liquor law violation at McCormick Hall. One student was issued a conduct referral.

Pitt police issued one citation for underage drinking at Litchfield Tower B.

A student left his skateboard unattended at Lothrop Hall and upon returning it was gone.

A campus security authority reported a liquor law violation at Nordenberg Hall. One student was issued a conduct referral.

Sunday, October 3

Pitt police arrested one juvenile for the theft of a speaker on the 3400 block of Ward Street. The juvenile was released into the custody of his mother.

A campus security authority reported a liquor law violation on the 3300 block of Ward Street. One student was issued a conduct referral.

Pitt police issued one citation for underage drinking at Sutherland Hall.

Pitt police issued one summons arrest for indecent assault and harassment at Pi Kappa Alpha on the 300 block of McKee Place.

Pitt police issued one citation to a University non-affiliate for smoking or possessing marijauna in public on Forbes Avenue and Oakland Avenue.

Monday, October 4

Pitt police assisted City police with an indecent assault on South Bouquet Street.

Pitt police assisted City police with a theft from a University-owned vehicle on Centre Avenue and South Millvale Avenue.

Pitt police assisted City police with a theft from a motor vehicle on the 300 block of Oakland Avenue.

Tuesday, October 5

Pitt police assisted City police with a possible stolen vehicle on the 100-300 block of Oakland Avenue.

An individual wanted to file a report concerning fraud/extortion on the 3400 block of Bates Street.

Pitt police issued one citation for public drunkenness at 3700 Forbes Ave.

Wednesday, October 6

An individual reported the theft of furniture at Chevron Science Center.

Pitt police assisted with a report of harassment by communication at the Public Safety Building.

Editor’s note: Pitt police began using a new blotter format which does not list incident times. The Pitt News contacted Pitt police about this change, and the police said they are working with their software vendor to correct the problem.
