PeopleSoft, the online system that students use to schedule classes, look at grades, manage University finances and perform other important tasks, went offline for about 19 hours between noon on Saturday, Jan. 8, and 7 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 9, according to Computing Services and Systems Development.
At that time, the system was undergoing maintenance that a CSSD alert message said was “necessary to maintain the stability and reliability of the Student Information System.”
The shutdown was only temporary. PeopleSoft is now running again.
