Former Pitt basketball player and current San Antonio Spurs forward DeJuan Blair will throw the… Former Pitt basketball player and current San Antonio Spurs forward DeJuan Blair will throw the first pitch at the Pirates vs. Chicago White Sox game Wednesday, June 16, at PNC Park.

“I have been a fan of the Pirates for as long as I can remember,” Blair said in a press release. “I am looking forward to getting out on the mound in front of my hometown crowd and taking part in such a cool Pittsburgh tradition.”

Blair is getting ready for his basketball camp, which will be held at Robert Morris University beginning July 6. He plans to hold the camp annually.

The camp is affiliated with Five-Star Basketball and is open to boys and girls ages 9 to 18.
