8:13 a.m. — An officer took a recovered property report at Panther Central. The incident was cleared.

2:06 p.m. — Officers and medics responded to an aided case in front of Frick Fine Arts Building. The incident was cleared.

3:55 p.m. — Officers found several doors open while checking Clapp, Langley and Crawford halls. The incident was cleared.

4:33 p.m. — Officers checked open doors at 27 and 29 Wellsford St. The building was checked and secured. The incident was cleared.

Monday, May 10

3:53 a.m. — Officers responded to the William Pitt Union for a false fire alarm. The incident was cleared.

10:56 a.m. — Officers took a report of a wallet stolen over the weekend at the University Club. The incident was cleared.

4:01 p.m. — Police summons arrested nonaffiliate Joni Corak, of 710 Atlantic Ave, Monaca, Pa., for narcotic possesion in the 100 block of Oakland Avenue.

6:06 p.m. — Police recovered a wallet in the Hillman Library. The item was placed in the recovered property room. The incident was cleared.

Tuesday, May 11

9:19 a.m. — An officer took a theft report in the Cathedral of Learning. An investigation is pending.

4:17 p.m. — Officers responded to the Hillman Library for a recovered property report. The incident was cleared.

Wednesday, May 12

4:03 a.m. — Officers responded to a false fire alarm at the Forbes-Craig Apartments. The incident was cleared.

4:41 p.m. — Officers arrested nonaffiliate Devien Wheeler, of 205 W. Elizabeth St., on an outstanding city warrant. Officers found a small amount of marijuana on the man, and a possession charge has been filed.

4:36 p.m. — Pitt police assisted city police on Terrace Street with a bicyclist who was struck by a vehicle. The incident was cleared.

8:39 p.m. — An officer took a recovered property report at the Hillman Library. The incident was cleared.

11:18 p.m. — An officer took a report at Pitt’s Public Safety Building regarding a motor vehicle accident involving a University vehicle. The incident was cleared.

Thursday, May 13

8:21 a.m. — Police took a report of a stolen coffee maker in Pennsylvania Hall. The incident was cleared at the scene.

9:40 a.m. — Police responded to a false fire alarm activation at the University Club. The alarm was reported by an engineer. The incident was cleared at the scene.

10:12 a.m. — Police recovered a Pennsylvania license, a Panther Card and $25 at the RA lot. The owner was contacted, and police placed the items in the recovered property room. The incident was cleared at the scene.

10:24 a.m. — Police took a report of a stolen watch in Benedum Hall. The incident was cleared at the scene.

1:56 p.m. — Police gave property warnings to a suspicious man in a gray sweatshirt riding a red bike at the University Child Development Center. The incident was cleared.

Friday, May 14

9:36 a.m. — Officers responded to a report of a possible unauthorized entry into Room 720 of the Library and Information Science Building. An investigation is pending.

12:05 p.m. — A man injured his ankle in the gym at Bellefield Hall. Police and medics responded, and the incident was cleared.

2:38 p.m. — Pitt police assisted state police with an investigation in the Westmoreland County area.

2:42 p.m. — Police responded to a theft from the volleyball office in the Fitzgerald Field House. The incident was cleared.

10:06 p.m. — Pitt police assisted city police with a robbery near the intersection of College and Walnut streets. Officers checked the area with negative results.

Saturday, May 15

1:10 a.m. — Police recovered a laptop bag with several software disks from the Petersen Events Center and placed the items in the recovered property room.

1:19 a.m. — Pitt police assisted city police with an armed robbery report at College Garden Apartments. An investigation is pending.

2:40 a.m. — Pitt police assisted city police with a report of a man possibly shooting a gun near Larry & Carol’s Pizza on Semple Street. The incident was cleared.

8:43 a.m. — Police identified a person walking a bike without a seat and placed the bike in the recovered property room pending an investigation.

11:09 a.m. — Officers responded to an incident at PNC Bank in the Schenley Quad. An investigation is pending.

2:21 p.m. — Pitt police assisted the Port Authority Police Department with a multi-vehicle accident at Fifth Avenue and Chesterfield Road. Medics also responded, and the incident was cleared.

6:50 p.m. — Police found a broken window at Bouquet Gardens and notified property management.

Sunday, May 16

8:32 a.m. — Police recovered a wallet and checkbook from Panther Central and placed the items in the recovered property room. Officers contacted the owner of the items, and the incident was cleared.

3:00 p.m. — Police recovered a cell phone from the Cathedral of Learning information desk and placed the item in the recovered property room.

8:38 p.m. — Pitt police assisted city police with a stolen vehicle and two suspects on Dawson Street near Edith Place. City police arrested an actor, and the incident was cleared.
