Women’s Basketball: Shawnice “Pepper” Wilson and Sarah Ogoke leaving team

The women’s basketball team may not have any seniors, but two players will not be… The women’s basketball team may not have any seniors, but two players will not be returning next season. Coach Agnus Berenato announced today that Shawnice “Pepper” Wilson and Sarah Ogoke have left the program.

Reasons for the departures were not released and coach Berenato did not immediately return calls for comment.

Wilson is a sophomore from Pittsburgh, and she averaged 7.4 points per game and played in 30 games throughout the season – including 27 starts.

Ogoke, also a sophomore, is from Sugarland, Texas and played in 28 games – including 2 starts. She averaged 1 point per game.
