Port Authority to adjust routes for parade Saturday

Detours on bus routes passing through the Strip District will begin as early as 8 a.m., while other detours will begin around 9 a.m.

Bus routes coming from the South Hills and West End will end at Station Square. Riders traveling Downtown will be able to transfer on the T for free, according to the release. Other routes will terminate at the East Busway’s Penn Station and a temporary shuttle will take riders to Steel Plaza.

The 28X Airport Flyer will serve Station Square by bypass Downtown temporarily.

Temporary bus stops will replace normal ones in the Strip District and Downtown during the parade.

Port Authority expects service for regular routes and bus stops to resume around 3 p.m.
