10:08 a.m. — Police responded to a false fire alarm activation in the Cathedral of Learning. A person in the kitchen burnt toast. The incident was cleared.

2:30 p.m. — Pitt police helped city police locate a missing person. The incident was cleared.

Wednesday, Nov. 18

12:52 a.m. — Police responded to a burglary in a first-floor apartment of Bouquet Gardens Building A. An investigation is pending.

2:39 p.m. — A person reported that a vehicle parked on Sutherland Drive was scratched by a possible known actor. An investigation is pending.

3:09 p.m. — An officer transported a person from the William Pitt Union to the Municipal Courts Building to obtain a PFA for an off-campus incident. The incident was cleared.

3:21 p.m. — Police responded to a report of the theft of computers from a third-floor apartment in Bouquet Gardens Building H. An investigation is pending.

5:17 p.m. — Pitt police assisted city police with a tenant dispute at 405 Oakland Ave. The incident was cleared.

Thursday, Nov. 19

11:59 a.m. — An officer took a harassment by communication report in Bellefield Hall. An investigation is pending.

6:21 p.m. — An officer took a report of theft of lost or mislaid property in Hillman Library. The incident was cleared.

7:40 p.m. — An officer took a burglary report at the South Side mini-station. The burglary took place at 266 Oakland Ave. An investigation is pending.

11:16 p.m. — An officer took a harassment by communication report in Litchfield Tower C. An investigation is pending.

Friday, Nov. 20

2:23 a.m. — An officer responded to Ruskin Hall for a criminal mischief report. The incident was cleared.

10:49 a.m. — Officers responded to a trash can smoking on the Bellefield Avenue side of the Cathedral of Learning. The incident was cleared.

1:56 p.m. — Officers responded to a smell of marijuana in Lothrop Hall. The incident was cleared.

4:16 p.m. — Officers assisted the Pittsburgh Paramedics with a person who fell off the climbing wall in Trees Hall. Medics transported the person to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. The incident was cleared.

4:56 p.m. — Pitt police officers assisted city police officers with a combative shoplifter in the 3700 block of Forbes Avenue. The incident was cleared.

7:55 p.m. — A person reported that he was involved in a physical altercation in front of Sorrento’s Pizza on Atwood Street. Pitt police referred the person to the city police. The incident was cleared.

9:25 p.m. — Police cited non-affiliate Demian Vonpoelnitz, of P.O. Box 87, Mendham, N.J., for an open container violation near the intersection of Dawson and South Bouquet streets.

Saturday, Nov. 21

1:10 a.m. — Police cited student Frank W. Fiorelli, of 190 Lothrop St., Room 534, for underage drinking at the top of the steps at the Petersen Events Center.

1:27 a.m. — Police arrested non-affiliate Mackenzie Darrell McCray, of 55 Holt St., for suspected DUI at South Bouquet Street and Euler Way.

11:56 a.m. — An officer responded to an ATM alarm in the Petersen Events Center. The incident was cleared.
