A malfunction in an elevator sensor triggered the fire alarm in Thackeray Hall this afternoon…. A malfunction in an elevator sensor triggered the fire alarm in Thackeray Hall this afternoon. About four fire trucks and two police cars responded to the alarm, which triggered around 2 p.m. today.

People were allowed to re-enter the building shortly before 2:30 p.m.
