Undergraduate seniors graduating in December or April will not receive new cards, because they won’t have trouble using the new Port Authority system, Panther Central Manager Jessica Larson said.
The University announced last month that it would update students ID cards, partially so that they will work when the Port Authority updates its bus system. When the changes go into effect, students will flash their ID cards not at a bus driver, but rather in front of a reader that will recognize the chips within the cards.
