Yesterday, Dixon posted on his Twitter page that he fractured a bone in his right foot but expects to return for the start of the season.
Dixon is set to have additional tests on his foot next week, and it’s possible he will have surgery which could sideline him up to eight weeks, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Dixon is the only senior on the Panthers this year, and the only returning starter from last year.
