Mayoral primary election: Absentee ballot deadline approaching

Applications for absentee ballots for the May 19 Democratic mayoral primary are due to the… Applications for absentee ballots for the May 19 Democratic mayoral primary are due to the Allegheny County Elections Division by 5 p.m., Tuesday.

Registered voters who will be out of the area on the day of the primary or who can’t vote because they have an illness or physical disability are eligible for absentee ballots.

Applications are available at the Elections Division office, 601 County Office Building, 542 Forbes Ave., or on www.votespa.com. Eligible voters can also request ballots by calling 412-350-4520.

Voters must return absentee ballots to the Elections Division no later than 5 p.m., May 15.
