Police are searching for the suspects involved in three armed robberies that occurred near… Police are searching for the suspects involved in three armed robberies that occurred near campus last night. ‘ Two of the victims, none of whom were hurt, may have been Pitt students, said Pitt police Chief Tim Delaney. ‘ Police said two men robbed people walking near the intersection of Bigelow Boulevard and Bayard Street at 10:38 p.m. last night, Bates Street and Oakland Avenue at 11:55 p.m. and on Semple Street at 12:10 a.m. ‘ Detective Donald Pasquarelli, of the city police, said he believes that two people – a black male between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-10 inches tall and another black man between 6-foot and 6-foot-2-inches tall – are responsible for all three robberies. He said police think that the shorter of the two suspects carried the weapon, a black handgun. ‘ ‘
