The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported on Wednesday that Cavanaugh, who has been at Pitt since 2004, is expected to take a job working on the Jets’ offensive staff. But on Wednesday afternoon, Pitt coach Dave Wannstedt said he didn’t anticipate any coaching changes.
