It undermines the message of the campus health service in making female students aware of all of their options in case of unwanted pregnancy in a degrading, shocking and graphic way. It is obvious to everyone that abortion is not an ideal circumstance to encounter, and including this unbalanced, graphic supplement in a student newspaper is irresponsible in the extreme. For women considering their options within our community, this supplement would have been very distressing. This is an intensely personal and private issue and should not be subject to one-sided propaganda in any responsible forum, particularly a student newspaper in a secular, public community.
