Friday, Feb. 1
12:54 a.m. – A student reported the theft of her bookbag from her vehicle while it was parked in the Pittsburgh Filmmaker’s lot. An investigation is pending.
11:52 a.m. – An officer referred a person involved in a stalking incident in Shadyside to the city police.
12:34 p.m. – A custodian in Pennsylvania Hall reported the theft of a vacuum cleaner from the lobby.
1:16 p.m. – A person in David Lawrence Hall reported the contents of a vending machine stolen.
3:39 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of the smell of gas in the Forbes-Craig Apartments. The smell was found to have come from a stove. Property management checked the stove.

2:39 a.m. – Police cited student Sanjeevi Ashokkumar, of Easton, Pa., for marijuana possession and disorderly conduct in Sutherland Hall.
Sunday, Feb. 3
1:14 a.m. – Police cited a student for underage drinking in Sutherland Hall.
1:28 a.m. – Police arrested student Dale Merz, Jr., of Cincinnati, Ohio, for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest in the 3900 block of Forbes Avenue.
2:21 a.m. – Police cited student Eric Jan Dykstra, of York, Pa., for underage drinking in Sutherland Hall.
2:59 a.m. – A woman in Lothrop Hall reported that someone had torn off and damaged items attached to her door.
3:10 p.m. – An officer received information from the owner of a non-University website concerning possible suspicious activity on campus. An investigation is pending.
6:54 p.m. – An officer moderated a disagreement between a guard and a resident in the Centre Plaza Apartments.
9:57 p.m. – Police cited student Derek Buchkoski, of Lititz, Pa., for underage drinking in Litchfield Tower B.
10:13 p.m. – Officers assisted the fire department with a couch fire in the 3400 block of Ward Street .
Monday, Feb. 4
7:39 a.m. – Staff in the Cathedral of Learning reported thefts from their offices. The offices were entered forcibly. An investigation is pending.
8:13 a.m. – An officer took a report of an incident of harassment between contractors working in Ruskin Hall.
10:22 a.m. – Property management reported finding damage to an interior door in Bouquet Gardens building A.
8:10 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a report of a car stolen from the corner of Robinson and Aliquippa Streets.

11:17 a.m. – Officers cited and towed vehicles parked in a posted area on Bigelow Boulevard between Forbes and Fifth avenues.
11:26 a.m. – A staff member in Sennott Square reported damage to a television screen.
3:28 p.m. – A woman in Alumni Hall reported the theft of a pair of glasses from her office.
4:57 p.m. – Police arrested Christina M. Szejk, of 6108 Walnut St., for narcotic possession in the 3900 block of Forbes Avenue.
11:39 p.m. – An officer reported finding graffiti on the rear of Forbes Hall pavilion.
Wednesday, Feb. 6
11:06 a.m. – An engineer reported finding a bullet shell on the roof of Sutherland Hall.
3:29 p.m. – A staff member at Posvar Hall turned in to Pitt police a pair of glasses left in a restroom. The item was placed in recovered property.
9:18 p.m. – An officer cited a driver, and towed the driver’s car, for driving with a suspended license in the 4500 block of Forbes Avenue.
