12:04 a.m.- Officers investigated a reported smell of marijuana in… Friday, Nov. 9

12:04 a.m.- Officers investigated a reported smell of marijuana in Sutherland Hall. The incident was cleared.

9:30 a.m. – A staff member at Litchfield Tower A turned over a piece of a pellet gun found in a toilet. The item was placed in recovered property.

9:45 a.m. – Police received a class II bomb threat at the Chevron Building. Police evacuated the building and used canine units to check the premises.

4:38 p.m. – Police arrested non-affiliate Kevin S. Thomas, of 1021 Taylor Way, Apt. 3, on an outstanding warrant in the 3800 block of Forbes Avenue.

10:53 p.m. – Police cited non-affiliate Jessica Lee Van Neste, of Fallston, Md., for underage drinking in the 3900 block of Forbes Avenue.

10:55 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a shooting incident in which two individuals were shot in an apartment at Parkview Avenue near the Boulevard of the Allies.

Saturday, Nov. 10

12:18 a.m. – Police searched unsuccessfully for a student in Lothrop Hall in order to run a welfare check.

12:22 a.m. – Police cited non-affiliate Jesse R. Rosemann II, of Norristown, Pa., for underage drinking in Holland Hall.

1:39 a.m. – Police cited a 17-year old non-affiliate for underage drinking at Bayard Street and Bellefield Avenue.

2:32 a.m. – Pitt police assisted Pittsburgh police on the report of a home invasion at 3800 Pier Street.

9:58 p.m. – Police cited non-affiliated Jonathon Simon, of Newton Square, Pa., for underage drinking.

Sunday, Nov. 11

1:37 a.m. – Police cited non-affiliate William E. Binion, of Munhall, Pa., for drunk driving at Halket Street and the Boulevard of the Allies.

8:41 a.m. – Police arrested non-affiliate Harold Meltzer, homeless, for defiant trespass at Posvar Hall.

3:53 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a fight at Forbes Avenue and Bouquet Street.

Monday, Nov. 12

11:53 a.m. – A person reported being followed from CMU to the 200 block of North Dithridge Street by an unknown male.

2:02 p.m. – A person reported that an empty can was thrown from an upper window at Thackeray Hall.

2:32 p.m. – A person in the Cathedral of Learning reported receiving harassing phone calls. An investigation is pending.

10:09 p.m. – A man reported the theft of his bike from the Cathedral of Learning bike rack.

Tuesday, Nov. 13

7:28 a.m. – Police cited non-affiliate Harold Meltzer, homeless, for defiant trespass in Posvar Hall.

12:09 p.m. – A motor vehicle accident took place on Terrace Street. No one was injured.

2:12 p.m. – An individual reported the theft of his bicycle from in front of the Gardner Steel Conference Center.

2:52 p.m. – Staff in Langley hall reported to police that a known man exposed himself to them. An investigation is pending.

3:14 p.m. – A motor vehicle accident was reported at S. Bouquet Street and Roberto Clemente Drive.

9:38 p.m. – Individuals reported that three purses were stolen from the intramural volleyball court in the Fitzgerald Field House. An investigation is pending.

Wednesday, Nov. 14

10:26 a.m. – Someone reported the loss of two gold rings in a restroom in the Biomedical Science Tower 3.

1:07 p.m. – A man reported that his bike was damaged while it was locked at the bike rack outside Posvar Hall.

2:23 p.m. – Police arrested three juveniles at the Petersen Events Center for receiving stolen property.

3:59 p.m. – Officers assisted Pittsburgh Fire Department with an alarm at 200 N. Bellefield Street.
