Situated among several other charming kiosks in Schenley Plaza, Bagel Factory receives daily shipments of fresh bagels from its headquarters in Squirrel Hill. Bagel Factory .is renowned for its creamy smoothies made with real fruit, which also arrives fresh each day.

These smoothies are the perfect way to cool off on a hot afternoon while walking to classes. Dozens of cafe style tables are situated nearby, so patrons can enjoy bagels, pastries or smoothies in the sunshine.

Bagel Factory is open during the warmer seasons and is currently selling giant pumpkin-shaped sugar cookies in celebration of Halloween.

An old country-style eatery, Bruegger’s features a wide spectrum of New York-style bagels that includes cranberry orange, rosemary olive oil and sun-dried tomato.

Bruegger’s offers a new flavor each season and is currently promoting an autumn-themed baked apple bagel.

It has also recently begun a delivery service for orders over $25 dollars. Bruegger’s also offers four flavors of soups each dayranging from its new zesty chicken tortilla to classic broccoli cheddar.

The “Herby Turkey” sandwich, a favorite of Bruegger’s patrons, blends a tomato spread with herb garlic cream cheese, turkey and of course a freshly-baked Bruegger’s bagel to hold it all together. Bruegger’s is a family style restaurant, making it an ideal place to take visiting relatives for breakfast.

Einstein Bros. Bagels provides a relaxing coffee shop style environment in which to enjoy freshly baked bagels, coffee and sandwiches.

Bagels ranging from classics like egg and plain to more exotic flavors such as jalepe’ntilde;o and wild blueberry are made daily at Einstein’s.

The shop also sells soups, salads, cookies, strudels and muffins in addition to its gourmet “Bagel Dogs,” which are franks wrapped inside flakey Einstein’s bagel dough.

Its most popular sandwich is the “Tasty Turkey”, which combines sliced turkey with a smooth onion and chives “shmear” and veggies all piled on a delicious Einstein’s asiago cheese bagel.
