Better known as The ‘O’ by Pitt students, this place is more than just your usual burger, pizza and fries restaurant. With great prices, you really get the bang for your buck at The ‘O.’
Menu items fit the college budget and appetite perfectly. Take, for instance, the 16″ deluxe pizza, which includes any five toppings your taste buds might be craving. For only $9.50, this 12-cut pizza can be yours. And you can’t forget about the fries. The portions are huge and every bite’s better than the last, especially with some Heinz ketchup.

Here’s some fast food that doesn’t fit into the burger-and-fries category. Boston Market serves delectable home-style meals that will have you reminiscing about your mother’s cooking.
Individual meals include your choice of meat (chicken, meatloaf, ham), a choice of one or two sides (mashed potatoes, stuffing, hot cinnamon apples, etc.) and a piece of cornbread. Price varies depending on the meat and the number of sides you order.

If you love bagels, you can’t go wrong with Bruegger’s Bagels. Some of their bagel sandwiches include the “Leonardo da Veggie,” with its herb and garlic cream cheese, muenster cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, roasted red peppers and red onions. You can also sample the “Cuban Chicken Sandwich,” complete with grilled chicken strips, honey ham, Swiss cheese, lettuce, pickles, Dijon mustard and chipotle mayonnaise. Not only does Bruegger’s serve uniquely delicious bagel sandwiches, they also offer soups, salads, wraps and even breakfast sandwiches.

If you love roast beef sandwiches, you must be thinking Arby’s. Their famous roast beef sandwiches and curly fries make for a fast and delicious meal. They also serve wraps and other sandwiches. If you don’t mind walking a little bit further from campus to get food, the variety of menu items makes Arby’s a top choice, since it won’t be difficult to find something you like there.
