2:24 a.m. – A person reported the theft of his bike from the Hillman bike rack.

11:59 a.m. – A person reported the theft of equipment and keys from her office at the Learning Research and Development Center.

3:03 p.m. – An engineer released people stuck in an out-of-order elevator in Thackeray Hall.

11:41 p.m. – Police cited sophomore Aubrey M. Roos, of Allentown, Pa., for underage drinking at Panther Hall.

Saturday, Sept. 1

3:01 a.m. – A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend was harassing her in the 300 block of Oakland Avenue.

6:20 p.m. – Pitt police cited student Emily Nicole Wolff, of New Alexandria, Pa., for underage drinking at Heinz Field before the Pitt-Eastern Michigan football game.

11:39 p.m. – Pitt police assisted Pennsylvania State Police with the notification of the death of a student off campus.

Sunday, Sept. 2

1:39 a.m. – Police cited freshman Matthew P. Barren, of Dalton, Pa., for underage drinking at Lothrop Hall.

2:27 a.m. – Police cited student David P. Wolff, of Hackettstown, NJ., for underage drinking at Lothrop Hall.

Monday, Sept. 3

3:58 a.m. – Police cited freshman Thomas M. Maringo, Jr., of McKeesport, Pa., for underage drinking at Litchfield Tower B.

1:55 p.m. – Alvaro Perez Hernandez, of 225 South Ohio St., was taken to jail on an immigration detainer from Dawson Street and the Boulevard of the Allies.

4:01 p.m. – Pitt police cited non-affiliate Matthew L. Gillespie, of 640 Rockwood Ave., and student Daniel P. Camarda, of 390 Arden Road, for marijuana and public drunkenness at Sutherland Hall.

Tuesday, Sept. 4

12:40 p.m. – A person reported the theft of his bike from the Benedum Hall bike rack.

5:03 p.m. – A person reported the theft of his bike from Salk Hall bike rack.

5:51 p.m. – Non-affiliate Nathan Sheridan, of 241 Guckert Lane, Wexford, Pa., was cited for disorderly conduct in the 3800 block of Forbes Avenue.

Wednesday, Sept. 5

1:01 a.m. – Someone pulled a false fire alarm in the sub-basement of Bruce Hall.

9:37 a.m. – A person reported the theft of his bike from the racks in front of Hillman Library.

2:46 p.m. – A fire alarm was activated on the third floor of the Cathedral of Learning. Students and faculty evacuated the building, but officers found no cause for the activation.

4:25 p.m. – A person reported the theft of his wallet from the Hillman Library.

6:25 p.m. – Officers cited non-affiliate Kenneth J. McConeghy, of McKees Rocks, Pa., for public drunkenness and trespassing at the Cathedral of Learning.
