3:14 a.m.- Officers checked the area of Parkview Drive and the Boulevard of the Allies for a possible prowler. The incident was cleared.

6:25 a.m.- A person stuck in an elevator in Thackeray Hall was released by an engineer.

9:05 a.m.- Someone reported the theft of equipment from Benedum Hall. An investigation is pending.

11:55 a.m.- A person who felt ill at the Cathedral of Learning and was transported by police to a hospital.

Wednesday, Aug. 1

6:34 a.m.- Someone reported being trapped in a freight elevator on the third floor of Benedum Hall. The incident was cleared.

11:40 a.m.- Police responded to a fire alarm in the Cathedral of Learning. Engineers said an overheated motor triggered the alarm.

3:33 p.m.- Officers assisted Pittsburgh city police with an incident of harassment reported in the 400 block of Atwood Street.

Thursday, Aug. 2

1:45 p.m.- A staff member reported damage to a University van while it was parked in the driveway of the William Pitt Union.

2:06 p.m.- A Pittsburgh Parking Enforcement officer reported an incident of harassment on Schenley Drive.

3:03 p.m.- Police arrested a juvenile for robbery in the 3400 block of Forbes Avenue.

4:10 p.m.- Officers assisted Pittsburgh city police with a reported theft in the 3500 block of Forbes Avenue.

4:35 p.m.- Officers assisted Pittsburgh city police with a warrant arrest at the corner of Sennott Street and Oakland Avenue.

5:50 p.m.- A bank security guard reported suspicious activity near the corner of Craig Street and Centre Avenue. The incident was cleared.

6:01 p.m.- A person in Litchfield Tower C reported being harassed by other residents. The incident was cleared.

Friday, Aug. 3

12:46 a.m.- Student David P. Kaufman, of Freedom, Pa., was cited for disorderly conduct and criminal mischief in the 300 block of McKee Place.

1:31 p.m.- A person reported finding tools in the rear parking lot of the Public Safety building. The tools were placed in recovered property.

5:01 p.m.- Officers responded to a report of a fight in the 3900 block of Forbes Avenue. The officers dispersed the participants.

7:31 p.m.- Officers issued a citation for driving without a license at the corner of Forbes Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard. The car was towed.

Saturday, Aug. 4

2:54 p.m.- Someone reported an incident of lewd conduct in the Hillman Library. An investigation is pending.

Sunday, Aug. 5

12:30 a.m.- An officer issued a citation for driving with a suspended license at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard.

7:50 p.m.- A fire alarm in the Darragh Street Apartments was activated by cooking activities. The incident was cleared.

Monday, Aug. 6

1:36 a.m.- A guard reported unusual activity by a University cleaner at Victoria Hall. The incident was cleared.

7:32 a.m.- Police issued a citation for driving with a suspended license at the corner of Fifth and Bellefield avenues. The car was towed.

8:39 a.m.- A person reported striking a door frame when driving into the Posvar Hall garage thus causing damage to a University vehicle. The incident was cleared.

9:10 a.m.- A broken sprinkler system triggered the fire alarm in the Cathedral of Learning. Facilities Management was notified for water clean up. The incident was cleared.

3:11 p.m.- A person backed a University vehicle into a car parked in the lot of the Public Safety building. The incident was cleared.

6:50 p.m.- A person was taken ill in the 3400 block of Forbes Avenue and transported to the hospital by Pittsburgh medics.

8 p.m.- Officers checked on persons handing out literature in front of Hillman Library. The incident was cleared.

Tuesday, Aug. 7

11:05 a.m.- A person who had been assaulted in the 400 block of McKee Place was transported to the hospital by Pittsburgh medics.

1:33 p.m.- Officers assisted Pittsburgh city police with a reported bank robbery in the 3500 block of Forbes Avenue

4:14 p.m.- A fire alarm in the William Pitt Union was activated by burnt popcorn. The incident was cleared.

10:04 p.m.- Officers assisted Pittsburgh city police with a reported robbery at the corner of Bellefield Avenue and Bayard Street.

11:53 p.m.- Officers found several open doors at the Phi Kappa Theta house and secured them.

Wednesday, Aug. 8

4:03 a.m.- Officers assisted Pittsburgh city police in the pursuit of a stolen car to East Liberty.
