6:21 p.m. – Someone smoking in a stairwell activated a fire alarm in Posvar Hall. The incident was cleared.
6:46 p.m. – Pittsburgh medics checked an ill person in the Petersen Events Center, but the person declined further assistance. The incident was cleared.
Thursday, Feb. 1
2:59 a.m. – Officers assisted city police with a search for robbery suspects at Bates Street and Oakland Avenue. The incident was cleared.
11:19 a.m. – A person reported the theft of her jacket in the William Pitt Union. The incident was cleared.
12:03 p.m. – Officers arrested students Steven Boronyak, Timothy Connors, William Thompson and Benjamin Smith, all of Litchfield Tower A, for an underage drinking incident on Jan. 28. EDITOR’S NOTE: The Feb. 1 underage drinking charge against Steven Boronyak has been dismissed by the magistrate.
5:07 p.m. – A parent from Lewistown, Pa., reported receiving a suspicious phone call asking for money for the University. An investigation is pending.
10:19 p.m. – Officers unsuccessfully checked on the well-being of a student. An investigation is pending.
11:16 p.m. – Officers confiscated a small amount of marijuana in Lothrop Hall. A judicial board charge will be filed. The incident was cleared.
Friday, Feb. 2
1:08 a.m. – An elevator repairman released a person stuck on an elevator in Litchfield Tower B. The incident was cleared.
2:07 a.m. – Officers responded to a fight in the 3900 block of Forbes Avenue. Officers arrested student Christopher Levkulich, of Canonsburg, Pa., for harassment. Officers also arrested non-affiliates Josh Nixon and Michael Lipinski, both of Canonsburg, Pa., for disorderly conduct.
10:30 a.m. – A person reported the theft of her purse and subsequent use of her credit card in Bouquet Gardens Building H. An investigation is pending.
11:32 a.m. – A person reported the theft of some money from her backpack in the Cathedral of Learning. The incident was cleared.
12:44 p.m. – An ill person in Hillman Library was transported to the hospital in a patrol car. The incident was cleared.
4:27 p.m. – A wallet, mp3 player and ID were turned in to the information desk at the Cathedral of Learning. The items were placed in recovered property and the incident was cleared.
10:59 p.m. – An elevator repairman released people stuck on an elevator in Litchfield Tower A. The incident was cleared.
11:23 p.m. – Officers arrested non-affiliate Kala Rose Burke, of Dillsburg, Pa., and student Durand Thomas Wilder, of Dillsburg, Pa., for underage drinking in Litchfield Tower A.
11:45 p.m. – Officers unsuccessfully checked on the welfare of a student in Shadyside. The incident was cleared.
Saturday, Feb. 3
6:14 p.m. – An elevator repairman released people stuck on an elevator in Forbes Hall. The incident was cleared.
Sunday, Feb. 4
2:45 a.m. – Officers checked on the welfare of a student in Litchfield Towers lobby. The student later returned to the dormitory, and the incident was cleared.
9:53 a.m. – Guards checked on a report of a leaking roof in Hillman Library. Facilities management was notified, and the incident was cleared.
1:49 p.m. – A small lint fire in a dryer activated a fire alarm in Scaife Hall. The Pittsburgh Fire Department responded, and the incident was cleared.
