For Brooke, the transition came naturally.
“I think it’s a trajectory I’ve always been on. I write pop songs. That’s what I do,” Brooke said during a recent telephone interview.
Currently on tour in Denmark, Brooke will take the stage at Pittsburgh’s Rex Theatre for a solo performance on April 28.
While Brooke admits that extended stints of touring can be a hassle (“You don’t get a good meal, you don’t get a good sleep”), she still loves spending time on the road, experiencing different cities and connecting with her fans.
