Holiday Concert

Women’s Choral Ensemble

Heinz Chapel

Tomorrow, 8 p.m.

Free with Pitt I.D.

The time is here to enjoy the season’s holiday music, and this weekend provides the perfect opportunity to do just that. Join the Women’s Choral Ensemble as its members showcase their talent tomorrow with a holiday selection.

Founded in 1927, the ensemble is made up of undergraduates, graduates and staff of the University of Pittsburgh. The women perform in concert once a semester with music that includes traditional sacred and secular classics, international folk songs, popular songs and show tunes. Each fall, the ensemble also leads the lamplighter ceremony for young female students at the university.

So take a break from studying for finals this weekend, and enjoy a night of music filled with your holiday favorites.
