Antonio Bryant, WR, San Francisco 49ers, 1999-2001 — Bryant and the 49ers (2-4) had the week off.

Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Arizona Cardinals, 2002-2003 — A hamstring injury kept the pro-bowl receiver on the sidelines. Arizona could have used him. The Cardinals (1-6) lost to the hapless Oakland Raiders, 22-9, failing to get into the end zone on the day.

Nick Goings HB, Carolina Panthers, 1996-1999 — Although he only carried the ball twice for a single yard, Goings caught a rare touchdown just before halftime to give the Panthers a 14-7 lead. Carolina (4-3), however, went on to lose to Cincinnati (4-2), 17-14.

Gerald Hayes, LB, Arizona Cardinals, 1999-2002 — Hayes led the Cardinal defense with 10 tackles on Sunday, seven of the solo variety. Arizona (1-6) became the first team to lose to the Raiders (1-5) this season, falling 22-9.

Andy Lee, P, San Francisco 49ers, 2000-2003 — Lee and the 49ers (2-4) had the week off.

Brandon Miree, HB, Green Bay Packers, 2002-2003 — The tailback caught two passes for 13 yards in the Packers’ 34-24 win over Miami (1-6). Green Bay (2-4) won for only the second time this season.

Hank Poteat, CB, New York Jets, 1996-1999 — Poteat made two tackles, one solo, for the Jets (4-3), who held off the Detroit Lions 31-24 for New York’s second win in a row.

Shawntae Spencer, DB, San Francisco 49ers, 2000-2003 — Spencer and the 49ers (2-4) had the week off.

Kris Wilson, TE, Kansas City Chiefs, 2000-2003 — Playing behind Tony Gonzalez, who had 138 receiving yards on the day, Wilson only caught two balls in Kansas City’s 30-27 overtime win over San Diego (4-2). One of those was an 11-yard touchdown, though. It was the first in his three years playing for Kansas City (3-3).
