12:26 a.m. — Officers assisted city police with a report of shots fired at Louisa Street and Meyran Avenue. An investigation found them to be firecrackers. The incident was cleared.

12:23 p.m. — People stuck on an elevator in Salk Hall were released by an elevator repairman. The incident was cleared.

3:03 p.m. — Officers assisted city police with a car accident at Sennott Square and Atwood Street. The incident was cleared.

Wednesday, June 21

8:19 p.m. — Officers recovered a stolen vehicle from the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital’s garage. The incident was cleared.

8:55 p.m. — A guard at the Biotechnology Center reported a dead bird on the patio. The Health Department was notified. The incident was cleared.

Thursday, June 22

1:50 a.m. — Officers arrested non-affiliates Robert W. Goldsmith, of 810 Wood St., and Derrick McLaughlan, of no fixed address, for disorderly conduct at Forbes Avenue and Bouquet Street.

9:45 a.m. — Officers responded to a minor fender bender in the Sennott Square parking lot. Damage was reported to a University parking meter and bushes. The incident was cleared.

2:10 p.m. — A cell phone was recovered in Schenley Plaza. The incident was cleared.

2:59 p.m. — Individuals trapped on an elevator in Allen Hall were released by the elevator company. The incident was cleared.

10:23 p.m. — Officers responded to a report of suspicious persons loitering around the steps of the Chevron Science Center. Three juveniles were brought to the station for investigation. Property warnings were issued and the juveniles were released to a guardian. The incident was cleared.

Friday, June 23

5:09 p.m. — Officers arrested non-affiliates Robert Lamont Frazier, of 507 South Ave., and Gerald L. Dudley, of 509 Junilla St., for possession of drug paraphernalia and defiant trespass. The incident was cleared.

Sunday, June 25

2:34 a.m. — Police arrested non-affiliate Wayne McKenith, of 4007 Portman St., for disorderly conduct for urinating in the middle of the street at Forbes Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard. The incident was cleared.

6:22 a.m. — Non-affiliate Tyrone Younger was arrested for disorderly conduct for urinating on the door of the Copy Cat on Forbes Avenue. The incident was cleared.

7:52 p.m. — An individual stated his vehicle was broken into in the William Pitt Union garage. The owner’s manual and $10 were taken from the vehicle. The incident was cleared.

Monday, June 26

1:22 a.m. — Police arrested non-affiliate Victor Bibiano Gallegos, of no known address, for attempted rape in the 200 block of Oakland Avenue.
